Dr. Varsha Agarwal is the first Pain Physician in Saharanpur. After finishing her schooling, she has done her MBBS in 1995 from most reputed medical College of Uttar Pradesh in north india KGMC Lucknow. She took MD Anesthesia, training from GSVM, Kanpur under versatile teachers and only college to have running Pain clinic under Anesthesia Department. She attended various conference and presented papers in national conference during her M.D tenure and thereafter she become life member of Indian Society of Anesthesia and Indian Society of Study of Pain.

After Completing her M.D in 1998, she joined HIMS, Jolly Grant where she worked in Anesthesia Pain Management and Critical Care. She had the privilege to be among Organize of ICU Workshop 99 on Ventilatory & nutritional support in critically ill patients on 2nd Oct 1999 at HIMS, Jolly Grant Dehradun.

In 2001, she started free lancing practice of Anesthesia in Saharanpur, her Special interest in regional Anesthesia, that helped her in exploring its application in trauma pain, labor pain, Post-operative pain and chronic pain management. Millions of people are suffering from back pain, neuropathic pain, sciatica, post herpetic pain, neuralgias, cancer pain and headaches.

Intervention pain management is a new branch of Medicine devoted to diagnoses & treating these disorders through minimally invasive procedures under image guidance.

Patient can go back to activity very soon after these procedures require no hospital admission and anesthesia. These procedures are definitely less expensive than surgery and help in reducing drug dependency. In developing countries these procedure are evolving very fast and thus popular.
